About Keenan

Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Canadian indie-pop artist Keenan Smits has been singing, dancing, acting and creating music for as long as he can remember. 

After high school, he honed his skills at Sheridan College’s prestigious Music Theatre Performance Program where he honed his skills as a 'triple threat'. Highlights include playing lead roles in the Canadian premiere of “Stars of Mars” and the workshop of “Pump Up The Volume.”  Keenan also did some professional modelling during this time.

Currently based out of Toronto, Keenan spent the last couple of years songwriting, recording, and collaborating with other artists. He was featured on JPA’s “Man on the Radio” EP appearing on the songs “Damage Control” and “Love Strings” in 2020.  

Keenan released his long awaited debut single EndGame in 2021. His second single Unexpected Love was released early in 2022. In the summer of 2022, he released Raspberry Lemonade with local artist and longtime friend Josh Alcantara.
